SUSTAINABLE FOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH AND THE OCEAN

A sustainable seafood event will be held at Sophia University Yotsuya Campus on Novenmver 7th.
“FISH A WEEK”‘s food truck will be open at Sophia University for one day only. Mr. Karibu Suzuki, will provide a special speech about fish and marine conservation.
Students at Sophia who answer the quiz from Karibu-san beforehand can receive a free FISH A WEEK fish topping.

In addition, those who buy a FISH A WEEK lunch box on the day will receive a special marine version Sofian-kun sticker! We are also accepting any questions you would like to ask Kaoribu-san in advance. Questions form will be open until the day of the event!

The World’s Ocean Needs Our Help
Recently, lots of human activities have been affecting the aquatic environment. The abundant plastic waste, destructive fishing practices, and the increase in sea level due to global warming, has led to decrease in global fish populations.
Human life, however, is highly dependent on the ocean. According to the UN, more than 3 billion people rely on oceans and coastal ecosystems for their livelihood. Therefore, it is our responsibility to take meaningful actions to protect and restore our ocean.
