The World’s Ocean Needs Our Help
Recently, lots of human activities have been affecting the aquatic environment. The abundant plastic waste, destructive fishing practices, and the increase in sea level due to global warming, has led to decrease in global fish populations.
Human life, however, is highly dependent on the ocean. According to the UN, more than 3 billion people rely on oceans and coastal ecosystems for their livelihood. Therefore, it is our responsibility to take meaningful actions to protect and restore our ocean.

The time to act is now
Nevertheless, haven’t you ever felt it seems too challenging to contribute to promoting sustainability?
No problem. In fact, you can easily work on protecting the ocean environment by making small changes to your daily diet!
Blue Seafood
refers to seafood that has been certified as sustainable and is caught with a well-managed system that protects the ecosystem. By choosing seafoods that are listed in the Blue Seafood Guide, you can avoid supporting systems that destruct our ecosystem, and instead contribute to the recovery of depleted marine resources.
