First held in 2014, the event will take place for 7th time with the various events and symposium offering opportunities to consider the world and our future through the U.N activities.
On June 2, the panel discussion “Press Freedom and the Challenges Facing Journalism” with United Nations Special Rapporteur Mr. David Keye and other prominent journalists from U.S. will be held and On June 5, the special symposium “The Future of the United Nations and Multilateralism” will take place to consider the future of Multilateralism as well as the role of the U.N.

”Press Freedom and the Protection of Journalists”
The symposium will feature among others Prof. David Kaye, UN Special Rapporteur on the Promotion and Protection of the Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression. He will outline his upcoming report to the General Assembly and the Human Rights Council.

The rising tide of nationalism and exclusionist tendency as seen in U.S. and some other countries is threatening multilateralism and the United Nations.
